Title: The Persian Language
Book Condition: Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket
Edition: First American Edition; First Printing
Publisher: New York Philosophical Library 1951
Seller ID: 38568
3 p.l. & 125 pages; Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt. A tight, clean copy in the original binding, and (price clipped) dust jacket. No marks of any sort. The endpapers have a double page map of Iran (repeated at the rear). These endpapers have faint tanning at the gutter margins, (slightly more noticeable on the blank endpapers adjacent) -- caused by glue and materials used in this original binding. This is the American issue (from the British sheets) of this volume from a well respected British series of scholarly references -- the Modern Languages section of Hutchinson's University Library. An excellent copy.
