4to 11" - 13" tall; This four volume set contains Shakespeare's 14 comedies beautifully illustrated with 131 photogravure plates after paintings and drawings by Edwin A. Abbey. Abbey's illustrations (first published in Harper's Monthly over a period of years), were published together for the first time in this special edition of the Comedies. Bindings are white cloth spines over gray boards (10 1/4" x 7 3/8") with printed labels at spines. Contents are clean and tight in all four volumes. Bindings are worn, cloth spine are toned & soiled, worn and chipped at spine ends. Boards have minor wear at corners. Heavy set. Extra shipping charges for Priority or Overseas.
