Light wear at corners, an attractive book. Text illustrations throughout. OCLC 67895428 Father Auguste Marie Hue (1840-1917) was a French botanist who specialised in lichens. His treatise is based on his study lichens collected by the scientific expedition in Tunisia by Narcisse Théophile Patouillard (1854-1926); by the French Antarctic expeditions (1903-1905 and 1908-1910) commissioned by Jean-Baptiste Charcot (1867-1936); and specimens collected by Father Auguste Barthelemy Langlois (1832-1900) in Louisiana.
