The binding is worn and rubbed, but remaining intact and sound. Foxing to the endpapers (with a short closed tear to the fore-edge of the front free endpaper) but the text and illustrations are relatively unfoxed and clean. Two volumes, with separate pagination. Two handsome frontispieces and five full-page woodcuts, each with a delicate border consisting entirely of type ornaments.
