Ring mark (from a damp glass or object) on the front cover, evidence of removal of a label from the foot of the spine and the front paste down endpaper, but still and sound and handsome copy of this scarce work of reference concerning Gregorian chant, written in Catalan Spanish by a Montserrat monk, Dom Gregorio Maria Suñol [1879-1946]. Frontispiece, plates, diagrams and notation throughout, and five folding plates at the rear (one is a map, the others with musical notation). Errata slip tipped in at the final page of the text.
