Clean and tight in original pictorial wrappers. Illustrated with several fascinating sepia photographs. General Tahon traveled broadly in colonial service with the French Foreign Legion. He was stationed in Tonkin in the Far East in 1887. In the 1890s he was transferred to Algeria, Dahomey and Madagascar.
