54 pages; Contents clean and secure in original pictorial boards, cloth spine worn at spine ends, boards rubbed at edges and corners; endpapers split along internal hinges, but holding strong; tiny bookseller's label at corner of ffep ("Booksellers / Mohun Bros. / 1015 PA Ave / Washington") . Deep brown paper over boards with moderate reddish-brown very fine diagonal rib spine; central panel with various images found in book of cow jumping over the moon, the dish and the spoon, a cat playing the fiddle and a dog laughing, candles and plants and birds, all within triple rule border, lettering above on panel and garland; masks and musical instruments on ribbon on either side; lettered panel below with two floral designs and three mices within panel, all in yellow and black; rear board: crane and two children holding sheet music in panel at center, panels above and below with garland and faces, all in black and yellow. Very dark bluish-green (C166) coated endpapers. Measures: H: 18.2 cm.; W: 19.3 cm.; D: 1 cm.
